鸟类飞行的定向与导航机制是近十年国际研究的热点之一。大量行为学实验已经证明，地球磁场信息在鸟类迁徙或者归巢过程中发挥着极其重要的作用。但其具体机理还未知。本研究通过观察外加磁场对普通家鸽在四臂迷宫内寻找食物方向的影响，了解地磁场强度刺激对鸟类行为定向的作用。
