Objective:Classical prescriptions of Traditional Chinese Medicine play more important role in curing the old with chronic asthma,so that they can live a better life.Methods:Based on the theory of zang-fu organs,all kinds of Qi belong to the lung,the lung dominating Qi and controlling respiration,Adopting four therapeutic methods of TCM,tonifying the Qi of lung,reinforcing the physiological functions of the lung,the spleen and the kidney,Treating with classical prescriptions.Conlustion:Treating chronic asthma with tonify method manifested better effect on chronic asthma than other methods.The result suggested that it eventua-lly improving the clinic symptom of chronic asthma.
