盐霉素在体外可以选择性地杀死多种肿瘤干细胞，在动物模型中对肿瘤组织具有很好的抑制作用，其抗乳腺癌肿瘤活性比紫杉醇强100倍左右，它还对其它多种恶性肿瘤以及耐药肿瘤具有很好的活性[1]。
