　　Background: RFA is currently a curative therapy for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)within Milan criteria.As a downstaging procedure,transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)is a way to reduce tumor burden before curative therapy and therefore expand the criteria,was reported effective for hepatic transplantation.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of TACE downstaging treatment before radiofrequency ablation(RFA).
