Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides with ammonia is the most well-established and widespread technology for NOx abatement from flue gases.The formation of N2O,a byproduct of the SCR, however, is not well understood.It not only reduces selectivity of the SCR reaction, but also brings on greenhouse effect and depletion of the ozone layer[1,2].Controlling the formation of N2O is an important issue in research and development of SCR catalysts.
