Atomic systems interacting with screened Coulomb potentials are very important in many areas, such as the plasma physics, quantum chemistry and quantum dots.The confined atoms show significantly different properties compared with the atoms in pure Coulomb case.However, the calculation of the bound and resonant state energies, wave functions, and other physical properties for the confined atoms are more involved than the pure Coulomb ones.In this talk, I will introduce our recent progress in accurate and analytic calculation of the confined two-electron systems, including two methods, the Taylor expansion and Gegenbauer expansion methods, for two kinds of basis sets, the CI-Slater and Hylleraas bases.We are finally in a position to "accurately" solve the confined two-electron systems and investigate the variation of system properties in different screening conditions.
