Getting research published internationally is auniversal challenge，but amore acute one for researchers using English as anAdditional Language(EAL).Whether we like it or not，most internationaljournals requlre articles to besubmitted in English，and in English which meets theexpectattons of the readingaudience．More importantly，the paper must meet theexpectations of the prioraudience，the journal editor and referees．Achievingacceptance of a manuscriptinvolves issues with language，then，but also withresearch Content and with demonstrating membership of the internationalresearch community in one's particular field．
