Radon,thoron and their progenies were measured in the air different rooms in a recent constructed dwelling.Committed effective dose due to the inhalation of 218Po and 214Po radon short-lived decay products by workers were evaluated.Also,238U,232Th,and 222Rn concentrations have been measured in different building material samples.Committed effective doses to skin due to these radioisotopes from the application the building materials studied were determined.
