　　Combinations of liquid crystals(LCs)and nanomaterials have currently sparked enormous interest from very fundamental studies on interactions of nanomaterials with LC phases to LC template syntheses of nanomaterials,to nanoparticles(NPs)as dopants for liquid crystals used in electro-optic devices.[1-3] Here,NH2-terminated mesogenic group azobenzol was chemically grafted onto carboxylic groups of graphene oxide(GO)via amidation reaction.
