Laminated composite plates have been used to fabricate flat-panel speakers.To attain high sound quality of these speakers, it is important to better understand the sound radiation behavior of the laminated composite plates when subjected to transient vibration.In this paper, a method is presented to study the sound radiation of laminated composite plates subjected to transient vibration.A finite element model is constructed to model the laminated composite plate-type sound radiator of a liat-panel speaker.
