The process of oil filling will produce static electricity which may cause fire accident.However,there were no reports about the research on the danger of producing static electricity in the process of gauging operation.This paper mainly introduces the test of charge transferring amount in the process of electrostatic discharge when an anti-electrostatic gauge is used,and calculates respectively the charge transferring amount when using an anti-electrostatic gauge weight or a metal gauge weight.The results indicate,when a metal gauge weight touches the oil surface,the charge transferring amount can be more than 0.1μC.
