KAlSi3O8 hollandite is regarded as an important potential reservoir for large lements and incompatible large-ion lithophile elements.Holl-I and Holl-II are polymorphs of KAlSi3O8 stable at low pressures and high pressures,respectively.We use first principle calculations based on density functional theory to study the vibrational and thermodynamic properties of KAlSi3O8 polymorphs.
