ISUAL instrument on board the FORMOSAT 2 satellite has observed several typesof airglow emissions since 2004.By using a filter centered at the wavelength 630 nm,both the redline O(1D) and Meinel bands of OH airglow layers in the height range of 80-300 km have beenobserved by using a CCD camera. In this paper,we will report the longitudinal and latitudinalvariations observed on days of 3-6 September 2008 and 25-27 February 2009.The red lineemission of O(1D) at 200 km always showed peaked longitudinal structures similar to the DE2and DE3,non-migrating tides (NMT),but the OH airglow showed weak signature of NMT.Forlatitudinal dependence, there are always equatorial enhancements for both airglow emissions, indicating the effects of tides. There are mid-latitude enhancements for both O(1D) and OHairglow with the appearance of mirror images of each other. These and other features will bediscussed.
