Heteroatom doping is one of the promising strategies to improve the supercapacitive performance of graphene [1,2].Herein,we report the preparation of phosphorus-doped carbons by phosphoric acid activation of thermal exfoliated graphene oxide,their structural characterizations by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),Raman spectroscopy,field scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)and nitrogen adsorption-desorption analysis,and then their application for supercapacitor electrodes.
