　　C/SiC composites were prepared by infiltrating molten Si into gelcasted porous carbon preforms derived from mesocarbonmicrobeads (MCMBs).The influences of the solid loading (40wt.% to 65wt.%) on the shrinkage, weight loss rate, microstructure, pore distribution of carbon preforms and the microstructure of C/SiC composites were analyzed.
