A new,robust chemo-enzymatic synthetic method was developed for synthesis of rhamnose-containing oligosaccharide.The β-1,4-rhamnoslytransferase(Cps23FT),derived from Streptococcus pneumonia serotype 23F,was expressed in E.coli and purified essentially to homogeneity.
