Virus-like particles (VLPs), as one kinds of nanomaterial, hold many decorative carboxylate groups on the surface, which makes them as a promising delivery system.In this study, we produced and assembled Foot-and-mouth disease(FMD) VLPs in E.coli.FMD VLPs carded the tumor drugs (DOX) for specific targeting of cells bearing the integrin receptors in vitro and in vivo.
