Supramolecular stacking of doxorubicin (Dox) on carbon-based nanomaterials for biomedical applications has been studied since the pioneering work by Liu et al.[1].Carbon dots (CDs),as a new kind of drug carrier recently, are usually chemically modified through the surface functional groups[2].Therefore,it would be useful to develop supramolecular methods to load drug molecules on CDs and study the stability of hybrids in physiological conditions in detail.
