　　Objective To assess the concentration of fingernail selenium (Se) among children with and without obesity and to examine the association between Se and childhood obesity.Subjects and Methods A cross sectional study was conducted among 62 obese (41 boys and 21 girls) and 65 normal-weighted children (38 boys and 27 girls) aged 7-13 years in Shanghai China.
