四川双流县公兴乡充分发挥民兵在农村两个文明建设中的作用,抓民兵,带全乡,经过两年多的实践,取得了显著成效:1997年底,全乡3685个民兵家庭人均纯收入达到4000元,并带动全乡97％以上的家庭步入小康行列,提前一年达到双流县委、县政府提出的小康目标要求。他们的基本做法是:
