The sulfolane extraction plant of Jiujiang Petrochemical Plant, designed by Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Company, was successfully tested on November 15, 1995. The unit uses reformed depentane oil as raw material, and the processing capacity based on the extracted feed is 100 kt/a. The main products are benzene, toluene, No. 6 and No. 120 solvent oil. The main feature of the device is the use of sulfolane as a solvent, extraction and distillation combined method to separate aromatics and non-aromatics, to prevent the thermal decomposition of solvents and to ensure the recovery of bottom lean solvent components and water content, solvent recovery and regeneration system
