关于原核细胞的基因表现及其调节,已有深入的阐明,其原理大致可供真核细胞研究的参考。但高等生物远比细菌复杂,其基因调节形式会有区别。与正常比较,肿瘤细胞的基因调节亦有改变。后者以不受限制的生长分裂,侵袭四周和远处转移为特征。肿瘤细胞的恶性特征常很稳定,可以长远地遗传于后代。这些表型的变化反映肿瘤细胞可能发生遗传信息的改变,或由于引入特殊的病毒基因,从而导致基因调节程序的紊乱。近年来,关于细胞癌变原理、肿瘤细胞的特性及其基因调节的分析,已深入到细胞生物学和分子生物学水平,现综述于下:

However, higher organisms are far more complex than bacteria, and their gene regulation patterns are different. Compared with normal, the gene regulation of tumor cells has also changed. The latter is characterized by unrestrained growth division, invasion around and far away. The malignant characteristics of tumor cells are often very stable and can be inherited in the long-term. Changes in these phenotypes reflect changes in the genetic information that may occur in tumor cells, or the introduction of specific viral genes, leading to disruption of gene regulation procedures. In recent years, the analysis of the principle of cell canceration, the characteristics of tumor cells, and their gene regulation has reached the level of cell biology and molecular biology, and is summarized below:
